Martin Fitzgerald is a Licensed Clinical Massage Therapist with 11 years of clinical experience. He received his basic training from the Body, Mind and Spirit Learning Alliance in March 2008. He is experienced in Orthopedic Massage, Active Isolated Stretching, Hot Stone and Sports Massage.
Clinical Massage consists of traditional Swedish Massage techniques, deep tissue muscle therapy, myofascial release with trigger point therapy. The focus is for rehabilitation of orthopedic injury and is a perfect compliment to your physical recovery.
Martin is responsible for the successful treatments for clients seeking general relaxation, soft tissue recovery after physical activity, injury treatment and prevention, and chronic pain management, allowing him to practice fundamental techniques while incorporating the more specific modalities he has studied.
Martin is an independent contractor and Professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). He has served the NJ AMTA Chapter as Treasurer and volunteer and is current Chair of the Sports team where he has been a member since 2008.
His experience includes working with mens Division I football and mens and womens Division I basketball teams, hi-end ironman athletes, runners, bicyclists and local high school athletes.
